Sign in with Klarna

Sign in with Klarna

Introduction

Sign in with Klarna (SIWK) is an addition to the Klarna Payments (KP) plugin. It will add a button on the cart page and My account (before you sign in) that will log in the customers, with all their preferences already set.

When the customer data is received from Klarna, a check is made to see if this customer exists in WordPress/WooCommerce with the same email. A new customer is created if none are found. After this the customer is logged in on their existing, or new, account.

Please note that Sign in with Klarna is an option you can enable or disable with Klarna Payments. This option is not available with Klarna Checkout.

Known compatibility issues

SIWK is currently not compatible with the WooCommerce Checkout block. Instead the classic shortcode must be used in order for SIWK to work as expected.
