- Feature – Subscriptions and regular products can now be bought in the same cart with Dintero Checkout. The whole order is paid with the subscription profile, and the saved card is used for the renewals. Merchants can turn this off with the 'dintero_checkout_allow_mixed_cart' filter.
- Fix – Fixed subscription renewals being sent to Dintero with the parent order's shipping method when the renewal uses another one.
- Fix – Fixed a fatal error when renewing a subscription that has no parent order.
- Fix – Fixed an already captured order, such as a Swish order, being set to On hold when completed if Dintero could not be reached to check its status first. Failed requests to Dintero are now also logged.
- Fix – Fixed customers sometimes being able to pay twice when they returned to the checkout page after paying in the embedded or pop-out checkout. They are now sent to the order confirmation page.
- Fix – Fixed a PHP warning (Undefined array key "default") logged when adding a product to the cart while a shipping method's settings had never been saved.
- Fix – Fixed an issue where orders placed in the same session could share a merchant reference in Dintero. Each order, including subscription renewals, now gets its own reference.
- Fix – Improved the validation of callbacks and redirects from Dintero before an order is confirmed. Thanks to kta1kri for the contribution!
- Fix – Fixed a customer who had already paid being sent back to the checkout when Dintero could not be reached to confirm the payment.
- Fix – Improved the validation of a subscription's payment method change before the new card is saved to the subscription.
- Tweak – Customer personal data, payment links and API credentials are no longer written to the plugin log or to the stored copy of failed requests. Postal code, city, country, order lines, amounts and Dintero IDs stay readable.
- Feature – Added support for Apple Pay and Google Pay in the embedded checkout through Dintero's new 'onAddressCallback' event. The address the customer enters in the wallet popup is now applied to the cart, and the updated shipping options and order lines are sent back to Dintero before the payment is completed.
- Enhancement – Added a new 'Enable SDK debug mode' setting that logs the activity of the Dintero checkout SDK to the browser console. This previously required the 'dintero_checkout_sdk_debug' filter, which still works and takes precedence over the setting.
- Fix – Fixed captures and refunds being declined for orders placed through the redirect flow, because the shipping line ID sent did not match the authorized transaction.
- Fix – Fixed the express checkout accepting a differing billing and shipping address from Dintero's address callback even when the "Allow different billing and shipping address" setting was disabled.
- Fix – Fixed a race where the checkout session could be updated while the payment was being authorized, which could leave the customer stranded on the checkout instead of the order confirmation.
- Fix – Fixed the captured amount in the order note being rounded down for orders with decimals, where an order of 0.90 was noted as 0.00.
- Fix – Fixed the checkout not rendering for a returning customer whose Dintero session had expired. The stored session is now discarded when Dintero no longer recognizes it, and the checkout reloads with a new session instead of showing an error.
- Fix – Fixed a critical error that occurred if the plugin was active while WooCommerce was not.
- Fix – Fixed a critical error that could occur when attempting to parse the plugin log.
- Fix – Fixed the VAT rate reported for fee lines being calculated on the gross amount, which made a 25% fee show up as 0.2 in the Dintero portal.
- Tweak – A checkout session is no longer created when the cart is empty, since Dintero rejects a session without any items. The express checkout is also no longer initialized in the theme customizer preview.
