Creating and configuring a ProTeria CloudConnect shipping method

With the ProTeria CloudConnect plugin you connect a regular WooCommerce shipping method to a specific ProTeria CloudConnect shipment service.

Create shipping method

  1. Navigate to → WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Shipping zones.
  2. Click Add zone or Edit an existing zone. Here you can then click Add a shipping method.
  3. Click Add shipping method, or Edit an existing method, to configure the settings.
  4. Select a shipping method and click Continue.
In this example we use Flat rate, since we want to configure shipping with a cost.

Set up shipping method

  1. In the Method title you name the shipping method – preferably similar to the Service you connect in step 8.
  2. Tax status – Here you set if the shipping is taxable or not.
  3. Set the Cost of the shipping method.
  4. ProTeria CloudConnect Service – Choose the shipment service you want to connect in the select box. Defaults to No ProTeria Connection.
  5. ProTeria – Display Pickup Points – Choose if you want to display All pickup points (including parcel box), Manned pickup points only or Parcel box only selector in checkout when applicable.

Please note that if you also use Klarna Checkout for WooCommerce (KCO) and have checked the box for “Shipping Methods in iframe” in your KCO settings, the “ProTeria – Display Pickup Points” selector will not be displayed. This is because this data is not transferred to Klarna and therefore not possible to display within the iframe.

  1. ProTeria – Enable Bag on door – Check this box if you want to enable the Bag on door feature when applicable.
  2. ProTeria – Enable COD – Check this box if you want to enable the Cash on Delivery feature when applicaple.
  3. Click on the Save changes button.

Shipping class costs

These costs can optionally be added based on the product shipping class.
These settings will only be visible if you have Shipping classes set up.

  1. “Skrymmande” shipping class cost – Here you enter the shipping cost if the shipment is bulky.
  2. No shipping class cost – Here you enter the shipping cost if the shipment does not have a shipping class.
  3. Calculation type – Choose if you want to charge shipping for each shipping class individually or for the most expensive shipping class.
