Resolve the endpoint warning in Kustom

Last modified:

What is the endpoint switch?

Historically, many integrations have called Kustom services via *.klarna.com domains. The endpoint switch means updating those calls so they go to *.kustom.co instead.

If your store is still using the old endpoints, Kustom will show a warning in the Kustom Merchant Portal.

Checklist: Steps to resolve the warning

Update plugins

Make sure you are using versions that support the new endpoint.

  • Klarna Order Management for WooCommerce: Version 1.11.0 or higher.
  • Kustom Checkout for WooCommerce: Version 2.17.0 or higher.

Create a test order

Place a new order in the store.

Do not reuse existing orders. Kustom only tracks new actions.

Carry out the following actions on the order

All actions (Edit, Capture, Refund) must be performed on the same order.

  1. Edit/Update: Change something in the order, for example by changing the price or adding an item. See guide here.
  2. Capture: Set the order status to Completed in WooCommerce. See guide here.
  3. Refund: Process a refund on the order. See guide here.

Wait 24 hours.

Kustom processes these actions asynchronously, which can take up to 24 hours. Log in to your Kustom Merchant Portal and confirm that the warning is gone.

If the warning persists

Before contacting support, make sure that:

  • plugins are updated to the required versions
  • a new test order was used
  • all actions (Edit, Capture, Refund) were completed

If you have completed the above steps and the warning still remains after 24 hours, please contact Kustom’s support directly to take it further:
