When you enable the Ask for newsletter signupsetting, Qliro will display a sign-up for newsletter checkbox in the payment form. When the setting is active the _qliro_one_signup_for_newsletter metadata will be saved to the order with a yes or no value, depending on whether the box is checked or not.

The data is automatically saved to the order in WooCommerce once the purchase is completed and confirmed by Qliro.

Currently, the plugin does not include functionality to automatically subscribe customers to a newsletter when they check the opt-in box. If a customer indicates that they wish to receive the newsletter, the merchant must handle the subscription process manually.

By default, the property is set to “false”, meaning that the checkbox is unchecked, but this can be overridden by enabling the Ask for newsletter signup checked setting to set it as “true” instead.
